Collegium Maius
Collegium Maius (we highly recommend visiting; tickets are required for entry)
We recommend you to visit Collegium Maius which is the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University.
It is in the center of Kraków, near the Main Square. Visitors are required to purchase tickets in advance, as the organizers do not provide or sell tickets on site. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum ticket office or online.
You can see old classrooms and beautiful Gothic architecture. There is also a museum with old books, tools, and scientific instruments. It’s a good place to learn about the history of the university and famous students like Copernicus.
